Chocolate Detective The 12 Rainbow Lovebird Chocolate Eggs, 150g Sale

Chocolate Detective Rainbow Lovebird eggs are a stunning gift – pen the box to reveal 12 eggs with speckled white and brown shells. They’re wonderfully realistic but the shells hide a sweet surprise. Inside, you’ll find layers of milk and dark chocolate.  

Six eggs are filled with smooth salted caramel. The rest are filled with a rich hazelnut praline.

The Chocolate Detective writes, “Lovebirds are one of the smaller members of the parrot family.  These brightly coloured pretty birds are so named on account of the deep monogamous bond that they form with their mate.”

The eggs are made in France using bean-to-bar couverture. The ethically produced cocoa comes from a large farm in Ecuador.

The recyclable boxes feature colourful bird illustrations. The artwork is by British artist and illustrator Madeleine Floyd.
