Description
Morelli tomato tagliolini is produced near Pisa, Italy. It’s made with durum wheat semolina and flavoured with tomato paste. As it cooks, the kitchen is filled with the smell of ripe tomatoes.
Beetroot powder gives the pasta its vibrant hue. It looks stunning in plain white pasta bowls. Pair it with light, delicate sauces to let its flavour shine.
Toss the slender strands with burst cherry tomatoes, garlic and basil. Add a splash of wine and some pasta cooking water to create a silky sauce.
Morelli uses an artisan method of reincorporating wheat germ into semolina. It gives their pasta a unique flavour and aroma, similar to toasted wheat.
Morelli pasta is bronze-drawn and dried slowly at low temperatures. This is the secret to the rough surface that helps sauces to cling.
