The taco filling is inspired by the Japanese dish, chicken teriyaki. The jar is filled with tender, slow cooked chicken in a sweet-savoury sauce. There are salty notes from soy sauce, sweetness from caramel and a hint of zingy ginger.

This taco filling tastes just like the sizzling Japanese chicken dish. Pile it onto warm tortillas or crunchy taco shells. Top your tacos with shredded spring onion, coriander or crunchy Asian slaw. Add a sprinkle of sesame seeds or sliced chillies, if you like.
