Description
Sichuan dried long chillies are the fieriest Sichuan chillies, this huge bag of chillies is the key to the perfect hot pot. They are usually combined with Sichuan pepper for an intense flavour sensation. The chillies are also great for infusing chilli oil. This huge bag of long chillies is produced in the Sichuan town of Chengdu, a town famed for the chilli rich red hue of its cuisine.
These long chillies are dried xiaomi chilli or capsicum frutescens.
You might also like the Sichuan round chilli, known as ‘Facing Heaven Chilli’ for stir fries as it is slightly milder, and larger and so adds volume to dishes.
